Alamo has cars at Chania Crete; must be 23+ to rent. No maximum age
*The minimum age requirement to drive all vehicles is 23. There is no maximum rental age. A young driver fee of 12.40 EUR plus airport surcharges per day applies for all renters between the age of 21 and 22 wishing to rent the categories Compact, Intermediate, Standard, Full Size, Premium, and Luxury, excluding commercial vans. The young renter fee does not apply to Mini and Economy vehicle

Didn't look at Naxos
Regardless of who you go with, I would contact them and verify all the details, including your age. While some may rent to you, they may also require additional insurance that is not always clear
You will never have a clear answer if you go through a third party service or a major like Hertz, Avis, Alamo.
Look for local Greek rental companies. Go to Google Maps, zoom the view to where you will arrive (Naxos port, or Heraklion), and search for "Car Rental" You will get a list of local rental companies.
If age restrictions are not specified on their website (Terms & Conditions page), contact them directly by email or contact form
We used Auto Rentals Crete this past June. We picked the car up at HER, At the time I was 75 years old with no restrictions. I had an excellent overall experience. Dimitris and his family were very attentive with communicating. Go to their website or email Demitris directly for information. [email protected]
I rented a car on Paros last year for a week. They charged an extra "senior driver" fee per day because I was 76. I think it was €7/day. You shouldn't have too much trouble finding a rental company that will do the same for you.
