Advice on June Greece Trip

I'm planning a two-week trip to Greece with the following schedule:
June 11 (Thursday) Arrive in Greece, Drive to Delphi
June 12 (Friday) Drive to Olympia
June 13 (Saturday) Drive to Napflion
June 16 (Tuesday) Drive back to Athens, drop off car and take flight to Crete
June 18 (Thursday) Fly from Crete to Santorini
June 21 (Sunday) Fly back to Athens
June 25 (Thursday) Fly back to USA

We are planning to visit the archeological sites early in the morning and drive in the afternoon. I've done this twice before. My concern is should we go to Crete Tuesday thru Thursday and Santorini on the weekend or reverse the order, Santorini in the middle of the week and Crete over the weekend?
Also, I've only been to Greece in April. How hot is it going to be in June?

Thanks for any help you can give me!

First of all, there are no longer any direct flights between Crete and Santorini. It's faster and cheaper to take the highspeed ferry, departing from Heraklion. http://www.gtp.gr

With these two islands the order doesn't matter.

That late in June it will be very hot.

Greece is likely to be very hot in June.

Santorini will be hideously busy at this time of year whether weekend or midweek (and is SO over-rated compared with many other Greek islands). Better to explore Crete more fully - you can easily spend a week here. I have been stranded on a Greek island due to industrial action by ferry operators (not an uncommon occurrence) so this has made me wary!
