Orthodox Easter holidays in 2027 are Good Friday, April 30 through Orthodox Easter Monday, May 3.

I use to get to Greece every year late Sept into mid October and every where I went there was more than enough to keep me happy but that depends on what you are interested in.

However, the last two years I've gone late April and again there was enough open to meet my needs.

Ferries run year round but may have reduced schedule.

Travel to Greece off season doesn't mean Greece shuts down. They'll always be shops, markets and tavernas open for locals which may offer you a more "Greek" experience than tourist experience.

I enjoyed Greece late April just as much as Sept/Oct but spring time in Greece is beautiful as everything starts to green up and flower, trees and shrubs start to bloom.

You don't tell us how long this trip is.....regardless.....it feels like too many islands. If you are not giving Crete at least a week skip Crete. A couple days is a lot of movement for not seeing or experiencing much. BTW...we have been to Greece more than a dozen times...always in mid-April. It is a beautiful time to be there with more than enough places open.
