I guess I'm just cynical, but I can't help but wonder who authorized this, and what are they getting from it. Regardless, as Thomas Tusser is supposed to have said, "A fool and his money are soon parted". There are people who can afford 1,000. euros a head for a two hour tour, but I doubt many of them look to this forum for advice. 1,000. Euros for 2 hours? I might be old, but I'm not crazy. Jeeeezz!

Suffice to say that this announcement intended for a wealthy elite to visit an emblem of democracy did not please everyone. especially to the people who are working on the restoration of the Acropolis...

Personally I need to stay around 10 days in Greece to spend 1000€, accommodation, visits, meals and drinks included
