Acropolis tickets

I would like to buy tickets on the Hellenic Heritage website to see the Acropolis in September. It seems the site only offers tickets for the current month. It doesn’t seem possible to buy tickets beyond March 31. Is this how the site works—tickets are available for the current month only? What is your experience with this website?

We went on a group tour so I can't speak to the website but that was day one and the start of SERIOUS plantar fasicitus because I relied on my reeboks and lands end shoes and under estimated how uneven and slick from wear those ancient steps are all over greece and turkey. I did pack a collapsible walking stick which helped.

Several smart folk in my group brought some variations of a light weight hiking boots and did better than me

Tickets for entry starting April 1 (summer prices) will be available for online purchase shortly. Typically in the last few days of March.

You don’t have to rush to book months ahead;. For September, mid-August is perfectly fine.

While the Acropolis tickets are still not on sale, the tickets for the Acropolis Museum went on sale this morning.

Just as a reminder, the Acropolis Museum is not a state institution, so those ticket-issuance dates do not apply to it. And really, there is not much point in buying in advance there anyway.

Tickets for April (and only April so far) are now available on the official Hellenic Heritage website.

Tickets for later dates should be available soon.
