Acropolis tickets

Hey All,
We will be in Athens (first time) at the beginning of March. Should I buy my Acropolis tickets online before we go? I did this for Rome and Paris sites in previous years and it worked out pretty well. Also, does anyone know the site to buy the tickets online? Should I buy tickets for other sites in Athens that I would be wise to do so? Any thoughts/pitfalls to watch out for in Athens in early March (clothing perhaps)?

Thanks!

At the beginning of March I don't think there will be a big crowd at the entrances, but if you want to buy your tickets ahead for the Acropolis, Agora, National Archaeological Museum... the official site is this one:

https://etickets.tap.gr/webengines/tap_b2c/english/tap.exe?PM=P1

For Athens select the region: Attica & Central Greece

Tickets for the Acropolis museum can be purchased here:

https://www.theacropolismuseum.gr/en

In winter, sites and museums close quite early (around 4:00 p.m./5:00 p.m.)

Note that all other commercial websites offering tickets and packages with so-called "skip the line" arguments will not offer you anything more than the official sites (except to charge you more).

I am having trouble using the provided website to purchase advance online combo tickets. Anyone try this site lately or have detailed instructions? Trying to book a ticket a combo ticket to start at the Acropolis on 21-April-2023.
thanks, David

This is probably due to the winter/summer rate change taking place on April 1st.

Don't worry, you'll have plenty of time to buy your tickets for April 21.
Go back to the website from time to time to check for updates.
