Acropolis free admission?

Hi, the Acropolis website says it's free on the last weekend of Sept.

"Admission is free on March 6, April 18, May 18, the last weekend of September, on October 28, as well as on the first and third Sunday of each month between November 1 and March 31."

Does anyone know how this works? I will be there the last weekend of September. I went to buy the tickets but saw the above note. When I put my dates in, there is a price like it's going to charge me but I didn't complete the purchase. I'm just wondering if we should just show up or do we still need a reserved time?

Thanks for your response.

So, you are not on the official site.

If you use the official site, you will notice that it is not possible to buy a ticket for that weekend (after selecting your date and time, you will not have the option to enter the number of tickets you want and can't continue).

Thanks! I actually was on the official site but the shopping cart was glitching. It works now and you're right there is no option to enter the number of tickets. Thanks for the link!
