Accomodation in Athens Big Group

Hello!

My entire family (19 of us) will be travelling to Greece next year. We will spend 4 nights in Athens and 3 nights in Corfu. We have a great house in Corfu, but need some help with Athens.

Does anyone know of a good accomodation in central Athens for this large of a group? I have found a few apartments that we can book together, and I know places that big are hard to come by in a city, but thought I'd see if anyone here has any recommendations. If at all possible we prefer to stay all together.

I would go for the multiple apartments close together. I think it is unrealistic to expect one place to sleep 19 people. We had six of us a few years ago and finding a three bedroom apartment was not that easy. Most centrally located apartments were 1 or 2 bedrooms.

Do the 19 family members break into smaller individual family units? Individual apartments if so. If not, a lot of hotel rooms!

Not a personal recommendation as I’ve never stayed there, but it might be worth looking at Athens Green Apartments. They have a number of apartments round a courtyard off a pedestrian pathway along the edge of the old Olympic stadium.

I walk past it often and it’s in a nice area: close enough to the centre to walk but also close to neighbourhood tavernas.
