Accommodations Athens solo traveler

I have purchased the Rick Steves Mediterranean Cruise Ports book. Unfortunately it is dated pre covid so some things are a bit out of date (love it though, happy with purchase). I am a solo traveler going in September 2023 as an after cruise excursion. Can anyone recommend a safe hotel within walking distance to, well everything, in Athens? I have a budget of about 120.00 to 150.00 USD per night for a hotel stay. I am not interested in apartments would prefer hotel or quiet boutique hotel.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

We stayed at the boutique Hotel Hera on our RS Greece Tour several years ago. It was quiet. The location was ideal. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Short walking distance to sights and restaurants. The hotel Bar & restaurant has a stunning view of the Acropolis. Take a look at reviews on Booking.com. I always felt safe in Athens. Our favorite restaurant (Mani Mani) was less than a 5 min. walk from the hotel. The hotel staff were very helpful. Enjoy your planning! https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=&ved=2ahUKEwi6jPzcmub8AhVgCjQIHTCYALoQFnoECA0QAQ&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.herahotel.gr%2F&usg=AOvVaw3X2thrd-G1hF2lWFXn7oPL

Three other hotels in that attractive (tree shaded, quiet) area to the South of the Acropolis ... Hotel Airotel Parthenon , Hotel PHillipos, and more upscale, HOtel Herodion. These 3 even closer to Acropolis than Hera .

We liked the Herodion, comfortable and convenient, good breakfast. I don't know if it's in your price range.

We stayed at the Airotel Parthenon last May based on Janet's recommendation. It's in an excellent location. Right around the corner from the Plaka and a 5-10 minute walk to the Acropolis. The rate last May was $140 USD.
