Arriving Heraklion late afternoon Tuesday, June 6, with main interest visiting Knossos and the Archeological Museum. Planning to depart sometime Thus, June 8, to begin our Crete explorations. Should I just bite the bullet and pick up a car on Wed for the convenience of the Knossos visit, or save a day's rental? We're departing from Chania on Sunday afternoon, June 18th. (car rental company confirmed that it can be rented in Heraklion & returned to Chania). Thank you in advance!
