I have a work trip to Serbia May 17, 2023. My husband and 25yo son (perhaps with his girlfriend) want to join me before, around May 6-13 or thereabouts. We were thinking of a week in the Greek islands. Trying not to be overly ambitious- Santorini x 3d and which second island? Last night in Athens before their flights out, then I would be able to explore anywhere between Athens and Belgrade, to get me to Belgrade by 5/17/23. Recommendations on itinerary, hotels/airbnb's, restaurants, favorite hikes and things to do? Just starting my homework on all of this... All thoughts welcome! Thanks in advance.

I always trot out Folegandros as the best second isle.
Our TR/Photo Essay titled 'Metaxi Mas' is a loooong five-parter that includes Folegandros in one section, plus Santorini in another.

Paros or Naxos works well for a nicely diverse island experience when combined with Santorini. Ferry access is frequent and easy. All 3 of these islands have airports if you want a fast trip back to Athens for your last night. Stay in Oia, the most beautiful and architecturally intact village on the island.
