20th Anniversary Trip

We are headed to Greece in October and I’m finalizing our trip. We have never been before so want to check in and see if this looks good. In Santorini is there a restaurant in Oia you would recommend for an anniversary dinner? We’re not big fine dining people, but looking for something memorable with a view/ atmosphere. Thanks

You are making the common mistake of wanting to see too much in too little time. Your itinerary would require at least 5 more days at an accelerated pace.

If you want to enjoy this trip, in my opinion, you should skip one or two destinations, otherwise you will spend more time traveling than discovering Greece. To properly visit Nafplio, Mycenae and Epidaurus, you should plan 3 nights, and Athens and Naxos would require at least 1 more night each. That said, if your intention is only to check off "must-see" boxes, it is doable.

It took me more than a month and 3 trips to Greece to do what you want to do. Everyone has their own way of traveling, so it's up to you to decide.

I have to say that I agree.

We haven't been yet, we are going in October too, and I am not planning half of what you have on your list, and we're going for longer.

We really wanted to see Napfio, Delphi etc. but also the islands. We decided it was too much in one trip, so this time will be islands, next time, if there is one, will be the mainland.

We have four nights in Athens, and still don't thing there is enough time to see the city sights. We have four also in Naxos, and wish we had more.

We don't drive in Europe as it is the the "wrong" side of the road for us from Australia. We have hired a driver in each place though, and in Naxos we are doing everything on your list but it includes the olive press tour too.

We have a spare day there and aren't really beach people. We're actually staying right next door to you at Iliada Sunset Suites.
