We finally booked tickets to arrive in Athens on 7/3. I have been pondering this trip for over a year and even thought we were going last October. Lots of feedback from the forum and I am happy with the itinerary but I know I will have many questions along the way as I make reservations over the next few weeks. First question, do I buy a sim card at the Athens airport or wait until the next day in Santorini?
We will fly to Santorini, spend 3 nights,
Ferry to Naxos, spend 4 nights,
Ferry to Athens (flights are only available for later in the day, ferry gets us there earlier)
Pick up car at Piraeus, drive to Nafplio, spend 3 nights,
Return car and taxi to Athens, spend 4 nights.
