We just returned home from our trip to Greece. In Chania we stayed in the most amazing hotel called Serenissima. There were 4 of us, my husband and daughters (11 and 19). Most of the hotels we've stayed in have been very tight for the 4 of us, but this one was so spacious and worth every cent. Every person working there that we talked to - front desk, house keeping, restaurant servers - were so friendly and helpful. It's in the old town area and just about a quarter mile from the main port.
We booked through an online booking company and ended up with a deal that included breakfast every morning. I was expecting some type of continental breakfast, but instead found a full menu of basically all you could eat and each thing we tried was delicious.
