Santorini Hotels - Please help me!

My husband and I are planning a trip to Santorini in September. I've looked at possibly every hotel in the Fira/Firostfani/Imerovigli area, and could not be more overwhelmed. We've narrowed down that we'd like to stay in Firostefani or the north end of Fira. But I really need some advice/recommendations on the best place because I just don't know anymore!

Here's what we'd like:
1. Full caldera/volcano view (we'd prefer not to be on the east side of the main road with views that are father away)
2. Hot tub on the balcony (overlooking the caldera)
3. Breakfast included is preferable
4. Hotel pool would be nice by not necessary

Stairs are not an issue, and we're very active. We'd like to stay around $400-$450 per night. I'm nervous because I've found places that meet this criteria but they often have very mixed reviews. (note: I won't take one negative review as gospel, but I do look for trends).

Please share your recommendations or places you'd avoid.

Your question is in the wrong section as this section for Reviews. Try posting in the Greece subsection of Destination Q&A. You will get better responses in that section.

Have you looked at Lithies Traditional Homes? Our stay in the "Eros" home was absolute perfection. Maria and Sony will provide you with exemplary service. Breakfast, as well as afternoon wine and snacks are provided. Gorgeous sunsets. I can't remember if there was a hot tub, but quite frankly one was not needed. 171 five star reviews on Trip Advisor. I believe that airport or ferry transfers are also included, and Maria is happy to make restaurant suggestions and reservations. HIGHLY recommend if you desire a memorable stay in Santorini.

We stayed at Above Blue Suites in Imerovigli. It was fantastic and has the characteristics you are looking for. We were very happy with the location, view, service, and the overall experience.

I am also trying to sort out the Santorini accomodations question. Does anyone have any comments about Hotel Renos vs Scirocco Apartments?

I would most definitely stay in Fira over Oia. We stayed at Panelia Suites (3-star) and had a gorgeous view. Just a breathtaking every time we stepped out of the room onto a very large shared balcony. Breakfast was delicious, severed at a set time of your choosing on the balcony. The service was outstanding. The rooms were not luxuries but still very nice. I enjoyed the location as it was quiet but just around the corner from all the action in Fira. Steps are an issue in most of the hotels on the cliff side, but if you don't have mobility issues, then this place is a gem.

A second recommendation for Pantelia Suites.

We stayed two nights this past June. Our group of 12 reserved nearly all the rooms. Everyone was thrilled. Gorgeous view, hot tubs with some of the rooms, nice pool, a really good breakfast on the terrace included, excellent service. One of our favorite stays ever, anywhere.
