Santorini hotel advice

Anyone have experience with any of these hotels listed below? Currently booked at Kavalari but the others available and in price range. Just staying 2 days right after flight from US and would like caldera view and space to sit outside. Family of 4, two teenagers, so more room a plus. In July. Was thinking Firostefani or Imerovigili might be calmer than Firo.

Vallas apartments

Firo
Kavalari Hotel cave apartments

The only advice I can offer is that we stayed in a different cave hotel on Santorini and will never stay in another cave hotel room again, dark, claustrophobic, damp. We did not stay in any on your list, rather in Oia.

Yes, Fira is in the middle of everything and can be busy. I stayed in Imerovigli, which is about 20 minutes on foot away from Fira. I like it but ask your kids if they are willing to walk this far to return to their hotel.

Yes Firo is where cruises and boats come in, so the town is busy and somehow chaotic. We stayed in Oia and had a wonderful time. We walked to downtown Oia for sunset and dinner every day, and walked back to the hotel at night with stars above us. We stayed at Oia Suite. Very satisfied. They served breakfast in your own patios with a view of caldera.
