Hi! We are two adults and two children (11 and 13) traveling next September (2026) to Naxos for 4 nights. I've looked at some hotel recommendations already but looking for a few more as many seem booked already (is that possible?)
A 2 bedroom suite (kitchen might be nice) is best but also we are not looking to spend 500...more like 200/night. Two rooms is possible instead of a suite. We're happy to walk into town (I think looking to be close to Chora??) but don't want to be too far away. Open to both hotels and apartment rentals. Thanks!
Hotels are not yet fully booked; most are closed for a break after operating 7 days a week, 12 hours a day, for 7 or 8 months in 2025.
After that, they will have to set their rates for 2026. So you still have a few months before bookings open for 2026.
Even if you contact them directly, you probably won't get a response for a few weeks (at least!).
According to official Greek tourism data (INSETE), the booking window is 50 days in advance for a stay in September. Since Naxos is very popular, you can, of course, start looking before this average timeframe.
For a family of four, in Naxos, as in all the Greek islands, there are many more family rentals (apartments, houses) than hotels that would suit your needs. Most offer the same services as hotels (breakfast, cleaning, transfers, etc.) and often have accommodations with a fully equipped kitchen.
We are going to Greece in May (not Naxos, although I have been there). One of the accommodations I want to reserve still isn't taking reservations for May. Another one I just was able to reserve.
If you want to know what choices you might have, I would suggest putting in earlier dates and see what comes up. Then when you find some you like, keep checking back to see if they are taking reservations for the dates you want yet.
We've been to Naxos twice and loved it! The first time we stayed at The Galaxy Hotel (10 years ago) which was very nice. The second time we stayed at Spiros Hotel (4 years ago), which was a bit smaller but clean. Both are a short walk to town and the beach. I'm not sure if either has suites with kitchens.
As previous posters mentioned, I doubt the reservations are open just yet. The first time we went I made the hotel reservations just a few months in advance. The second time we went was at the end of COVID and hotel availability was plenty.

We stayed in Naxian Secret this past May and I highly recommend it.. It consistently gets 5 stars on Trip Advisor and is a brand new family owned boutique hotel. It is about a 15 min walk into town and 15 min to Agios Georgios Beach. It is also less than a 5 min drive to the airport. There is a homemade breakfast served every morning and they will serve it to you on your balcony or at the pool. They also have an arrangement with a taxi service that will meet you at the ferry and bring you to the hotel which is cheaper than the taxis that are waiting at the port. Upon registration the wife sat down with me and oriented me to the island and gave me great recommendations for restaurants.
I visited Naxos last year and stayed at Porta Home, booked on Booking.com

It's a house with two bedrooms on the edge of Naxos town, maybe 10 minutes walk from the ferry terminal and nearby area where all the restaurants are. The owners live upstairs and are absolutely lovely (baked me apple cake). Even though I stayed by myself, it is a very large amount of space, way more than I would have needed. Would be great for a family of four.
They have some dates blocked off in September, but early in the month shows $212 per night, and later in the month significantly less.
