Looking to spend not much more than $500 (US) a night - but want something nice for our honeymoon.
We're going from Sept. 11th-15th. What can you recommend?

We stayed at the Santorini Palace a number of years ago. We thought it was splendid but check it on on Trip Adviser to see what people are saying nowadays. Our room had a terrific view of the caldera. I am sure it is a lot less than $500 per night.

I would recommend the Katikies. This is in Oia which is the quiet, nontouristy part of the island. We loved our stay there. This hotel was featured on the cover of Conde Nast Traveler a good number of years ago. I'm not sure of the price now but you might want to check it out.

What type of amenities are you hoping for? A clean, comfortable room with view terrace could cost much less.
