Can anyone recommend a decent hotel near the Athens airport, preferably with an airport shuttle?

We stayed at the Sofitel directly across from the airport. We reserved a room months ahead of time and we're pleased with the price. We felt the price was about the same as a hotel in the city, but we didn't have the added taxi fare. It was a lovely hotel, well appointed rooms, convenient and the breakfast was delicious.

We have stayed at the Sofitel and it’s definitely convenient, if pricey.
However we have also stayed at St. Thomas B&B, a lovely little place nearby with airport pickup & delivery at nominal cost. Others recommend Hotel Avra in nearby Rafina, with free airport pickup ... sounds very appealing to me. Avra & St Thomas would cost far less than the Sofitel & offer a more pleasant location.
