Hello:
I will fly back to the US from Munich next week and therefore need to book an appointment for a Covid test. I understand that this test can be an antigen test taken within 3 days from the flight. However, in the following website, there are two kinds of antigen tests--one is free and another costs 29.9 euros.
May I know if the free one suffices for US entry?
I believe the only difference is that the free test is limited to being done (1) time per person per day - which would be likely how most Germans would use this since they test more frequently to update their covid passes unless vaccinated. Germany is going to be stopping all free testing soon, even for citizens but when I was there 3 weeks ago we received free rapid testing at a Kaufland super market and got the results in about 30 minutes. We were returning to the US on Monday, we tested on Friday morning to make the 3-day prior requirement.
