Hello! My daughter is studying in Stuttgart, and is living in the Mohringen area. We plan to visit her for a week in late June 2022. We're looking for an AirBnb or hotel for the week, but don't know which neighborhood to stay in. She will be in class during the days, while we're exploring Stuttgart and the surrounding area. We'll get together in the evenings and on the weekend. Is there a 'fun' neighborhood in Stuttgart (with pubs, shops, and restaurants), that is not too loud/rowdy and also near the metro (so we can visit her easily)? I'm not finding a lot of updated travel info on Stuttgart. Thanks in advance!

We recently stayed in this apartment/ hotel chain in Berlin, Dresden, and prior to that in Leipzig. The one in Stuttgart is brand new. They are a perfect blend of hotel and AirBnB. They have space, kitchenettes and a washer/ dryer, but have a front desk staff and some hotel amenities. We appreciate being able to do laundry, and find this chain thoughtfully designed for a longer stay.
