Where To Line Up For First Class seat on OBB train to Austria

Hello,

I have purchased first class tickets for an upcoming train trip on OBB from Munich to Innsbruck with a train change in Wörgl. I have found the train car number and seat number on my tickets. My question – is there a separate waiting area for 1st class OBB trains on the station platform in Munich and in Wörgl? Also, how much time is there to find your seat and stow your baggage before the train departs. Any advice from any who have already done this would be appreciated.

Fwiw Munich station is under construction and it's an ugly unpleasant mess. Stores and restaurants are in the underground mall they don't really tell you about.

Generally the platform will have “staging” diagram, showing where first class cars will be located, according to Sektor A, B, C, D, The platform will have signs marking the Sektors. The main thing to be concerned with is getting on a First class carriage; you can find your seat numbers once you are aboard. But if the train originates at Munich you should have ample time to walk along the train and find your designated carriage so you board the right one straightaway.

Train travel is not like air travel. There is no check in. There are no lounges. There are no lines. There is no annoying hanging around waiting for something to happen like at airports.
You just walk from the street in to the station on to the platform and on to your train. In Munich the train might be at the platform 10 minutes before departure. In Wörgl it probably only stops for a few minutes. Cars have numbers on their outside, but do have a look at the car diagram on the platform so you can position yourself in the correct sector. There is no need to be on the platform more than 5 minutes before departure.
