will you have a car or are you using trains and buses?

dunno. Neither does anybody else. Maybe. Be prepared both ways. Tell us in February.

A cuckold is a man whose wife is adulterous. Maybe you want to edit your post. Unless that's what you mean.

A cuckold clock is made in Germany, but it has a little watch that was made in Japan.

Maybe a "cuckoo" clock is what was meant. A cuckold clock would be what the husband watches while he waits for his unfaithful wife to come home.

Edit: I see the OP has edited his post changing cuckold clock to cuckoo clock. Anyway, it was good for a smile!

You have two clusters of destinations, one in the Black Forest, the other in the Swabian Alb mountains (and beyond) with Stuttgart in between. Neither location is ideal for visiting the other, so if you can't stay in two separate locations, you could consider splitting the difference in Stuttgart.

"another question will it snow in the last week of January?" I don't know. Will it rain the last week of June? It's pretty unpredictable. There's usually at least some snow on the upper slopes of the Black Forest all winter, but the region below to the west (the upper Rhine plain) is the warmest in all of Germany. To the east of the Black Forest is the Swabian plateau, which is usually a little colder, and the Swabian Alb mountains to the east are colder still. But these are only generalities, it could be warmer or colder at any given time.
