Weiss wurst at Munich airport?

We had a wonderful weiss wurst/pretzel/beer breakfast when we were in Munich. We’ll be at the Munich airport for a few hours one morning this week. Where in the airport can I find this delicious Munich lineup?

for breakfast? Weisswurst is always on the breakfast buffet at my favourite hotel near Munich, and there is usually a pretzel rack nearby, but they don't serve beer for breakfast.

The first two together, yes, but for me not all three for breakfast....

Good luck with it.

Be advised Weisswurst is a springtime Frankonian sausage, they may not have it on the menu. This time of year is more geared to Nurembergerwurst and Gluhwein.

Had a 4 hour layover in Munich in late September and there was a Bavarian restaurant near out arrival gate. I don't recall it's name. We had wursts, sausages, pretzels, and coffee for breakfast. No beer. Ask at an information booth or just walk around.

Weißwurst with a Bretze and and Weitzenbier is a München tradition. Weißwurst is usually eaten with sweet mustard and old school not eaten after 10:00 in the morning. Some folks still suck the Wurst out of the casing (Zuzeln). A quick search and found airbrau (three locations in the Flughof?). See the Brotzeit menu.

.. and Dallmayr in T2.

Rather, not after noon: "Die Weißwurst darf das Mittagläuten nicht hören" (the Weißwurt must not hear the midday bells).

I was thinking AirBrau as well, they brew their own beer, but somebody might be able to correct me, but I believe that it is outside the Secure area...not a big deal, but you will need to allow time to go back through security if it is a layover.

Thanks for your help, alll! I needn’t have worried: we walked past five places serving the weisswurst/pretzel/weissbeer breakfast combo, and that was without even going out of our way! :)

It was just as delicious as we remembered having in Munich last time. Thanks again for your suggestions!
