Voltaren (Diclofenac Diethylamine)

Can Voltaren be bought in Germany without a prescription? At an Apotheke or elsewhere?

Anyone had trouble taking these large tubes over in your luggage?

Available in Apotheke without prescription. Not sure if all have the size you want on stock.

Yes, according to the German Voltaren website it is available OTC from pharmacies.

I decant Voltaren into a 2oz. That’s slightly more than 1/2 a tube. No problems with carry-on liquid rules and fits in 311 bag.

I get the capsules or pills at 25mg. over the counter. They work so much better than the gel or cream does.

They sell a 50g size in the U.S. that is fine for the 3-1-1 bag. I had no issues with that at security in the U.S., U.K., and Italy.

Not relevant to Germany - but maybe to someone else reading, but I have bought it over the counter in a pharmacy in both England and Ireland. And I brought my Irish stuff with me in my quart ziplock to NZ.

In the UK the label is slightly different. That is true with many things, where one vowel is changed. For example it is Night of Ulay instead of Olay.

So here it is Voltarol with an "o". I like the one with a built in round flat applicator. Available any supermarket or chemist (pharmacy).
