Visiting Amsterdam and Germany in August 2019

Hi - seeking to find out if my itinerary is workable.

9th August - arrival in Amsterdam - ( a long flight from Asia but we are used to jet lag)
I'm told two days are enough to capture Amsterdam.

11th - Take the train to Frankfurt (02 hours?) - stay there
12 th - 13th - Frankfurt or closest fairy tale route - which would it be? stay along the way in some place nice?
13th - Take the train to Berlin - 14th/15th in Berlin - stay there
16th - Take the train to Munich - stay there
18th - Take the train to Salzsburg - stay there
19th - Take the train to Vienna - stay or return to Munich
21st - We have to fly out.

Please let me know if this is workable or am I packing too much in? Thanks

Yes, workable.

Train from Amsterdam to Frankfurt am Main (there are two Frankfurts in Germany) takes 4 hours.
You can look up train times and buy tickets on the DB (German Railways) website: https://www.bahn.com/en/view/index.shtml

I would not stay in Frankfurt am Main, but in one of the smaller towns along the Rhine Gorge section between Koblenz and Bingen. All these are accessable by train. Lots of small towns and castles.

If you are ending up in Vienna, best to fly out from there.

In general doable and also somehow rushed through, e.g. 2 full days for Berlin is very short, same for Amsterdam.

Hannover is close to German fairy tale route and more on the way between Amsterdam and Berlin.

For train connections use website of Deutsche Bahn.
