We are leaving for Germany 9/14/22. Our research(US State dept etc) indicates that there are no restrictions getting into Germany nor getting back into the US(ie no negative test required). We have our digital vaccination records downloaded.
Just wanted to check with people that have actually been to make sure.
Correct. Here is the German info. that states no current entry requirements:
And info. on entry to the US. Restrictions are for non US citizens. Citizens no longer need a test.

Have a great trip.
If you are flying into Germany on a German airline (Lufthansa, Condor), masks are required on the flight except while eating. We flew Condor and noticed passengers were given "gentle reminders" if masks stayed off after food and beverage services ended. Masks are also required on buses and boats (on all public transportation).
