One of the members of our group traveling to Munich this summer is a vegetarian. Anyone know a restaurant there that has good vegetarian fare?

I have found that almost all restaurants in Munich will be happy to serve vegetarian dishes, if you request them--not a problem.

You will be amazed at all the vegetarian fare on offer in Germany. Being Vegan or Vegetarian is wildly popular and restaurants and bakeries are catering to this.

Germany is a vegetarian/vegan paradise (something we were glad of as vegetarians living there!). Here is a listing of the vegetarian and vegan restaurants in Munich. Lots of good stuff and non-vegetarians would love it too.

I'm not a big meat eater at all and I was concerned about going to Germany. I was pleasantly surprised to always find a pasta dish on the menus . . . not to mention those DELISH potato pancakes with applesauce & herbed sour cream . . . and there are always salads . . . different that the ones here, but still VERY good.
