Vaccination time limits

Does Germany have a time limit regarding the last vaccination for entry purposes. I’ve read articles with 180 days, 270 days and only two approved doses needed until Sep 30. After Oct 1 three doses will be required. Also, positive test isolation is 5 days . Obviously, we are confused.

When we were in Berlin one month ago, three doses required. The last dose had to be with an mRNA vaccine like Moderna and Pfizer. The only time limit was the last dose had to be before two weeks to enter Germany. No time limit on the last dose. Once you have it good to go.

I just spoke to a Lufthansa agent re: latest entry to Germany. I was confused too. We travel there end of June.
This is what he told me : (as of today )
Fully vaccinated definition is three shots (includes one booster)
No time period restrictions from when last dose administered
Under six exempt

Obviously this can change but wanted to share what I learned today.

The above information is not correct! Booster is not required until September. If you have a booster, you are good to go. My son received the J&J vaccine. He also received a Moderna vaccine 13 months later. This was 3 weeks before we travel. He is compliant with the following rules.

(1) Proof of vaccination is physical or digital proof of the existence of complete immunisation against the
SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus in German, English, French, Italian or Spanish. Complete immunisation against
the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus exists if
1. each of the individual primary vaccinations were completed with one or more vaccines which
(a) are authorised by the European Union or
(b) are authorised abroad and have the same formulation as a vaccine authorised in the
European Union,
2. a total of three individual vaccinations were carried out and
3. the last vaccination was carried out at least three months after the second vaccination.

By way of derogation from sentence 2 (2), complete vaccination protection also exists through 30
September 2022 when two vaccinations were administered. Starting on 1 October 2022, complete
vaccination protection exists for two single vaccinations only if

1. the person concerned has physical or digital proof in German, English, French, Italian or Spanish
of a positive antibody test carried out on their person and this test was carried out at a time when
the person concerned had not yet received a vaccination against the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus,
2. the person concerned was infected with the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, he or she can prove this
infection with test results from a direct pathogen detection test, and the test on which the test
results are based
a) is based on laboratory diagnostics by means of nucleic acid detection (PCR or other methods
of nucleic acid amplification technology) and
(b) the test was carried out at a time when the person concerned had not yet received the second
vaccination dose against the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, or
3. the person concerned was infected with the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, he or she can prove this
infection with test results from a direct pathogen detection test, and the test on which the test
results are based
a) is based on laboratory diagnostics by means of nucleic acid detection (PCR or other methods
of nucleic acid amplification technology) and
(b) 28 days have elapsed since the date on which the test on which the test results are based
was carried out.

We are transiting through Frankfurt and as far as I can tell from what United gave me on Germany you need 3 doses in order to not have to provide a negative covid test, even just for transiting. So what Nonnie said.

I have spent much time researching this and cannot find any current info from official German govt sources which would conflict with Vandra's information (3 shots not required until Oct 1). It's interesting that the airlines are saying something different. My family is all 2 shots + recovery and arriving June 3rd.
