Past posts have mention that the museum is to be re-opened late 2025, but no date established yet...that was stated in 2024. Does anyone have news of an opening date yet?

It is currently not possible for the Institute for Federal Real Estate (BlmA) and the German Federal Office for Building and Regional Planning (BBR) to make exact predictions about the completion of the renovation and reopening of the Zeughaus. The so-called Initial Project Documentation for the renovation was confirmed by the contractor in October 2024. The design planning is currently underway, which is to be presented in the form of the so-called Final Project Documentation at the end of 2025. It is only after verification and approval as well as after release of the necessary budgetary resources, presumably in autumn 2026, will the BBR be commissioned to carry out the renovation measures. Only then will the BBR be able to make reliable estimates of opening dates.

Perhaps it's worth noting that the Museum of Military History in Dresden is considered an essential part of German history study. It was renovated and added to twenty or so years ago.
