Since last weekend Berlin has two new very rare animal kids in town: Panda twins.

Awww.....congratulations, Berlin zookeepers/panda keepers. Normally, I am not fond of zoos but I love the Berlin Zoo. It was a great place to wander while recovering from jet lag at the beginning of our 10 day visit last year. This is awesome news for the Zoo.

Just watching the newborns on the evening news in our hotel in Berlin ( across the street from the zoo ) , real cuties , all pink .

Berlin has some luck with bears this year.
Also polar bear girl Hertha survived in berlin's second zoo Tierpark and is doing well. Mother Tonja is doing a real great job as well as the teams of our both zoos.
