Trustworthy Shuttle from Augsburg to Munich Airport

Hello, I have a morning flight from Munich, and I will be coming from Augsburg. Do you have a recommendation for a trustworthy shuttle or private car service from Augsburg to Munich Airport? My friend in Germany recommended AirportLiner, but as far as I can tell it does not operate in Augsburg. Thank you.

Edit: This question has been resolved. I finally figured out the AirportLiner website and have booked a private transfer from Augsburg to MUC. I will leave it up in case it helps somebody else.

Yes, there are reliable shuttle services available from Augsburg to Munich Airport. You can check with reputable companies like FlixBus, AirportLiner, or arrange a taxi service in advance for a convenient and comfortable ride to the airport. Safe travels!

There are several providers of airport transfers in Augsburg, e.g. Flughafentransfer Maier (https://www.flughafentransfer-maier.com/preise) or Fahrdienst Schönberger (https://fahrdienst-schoenberger.eu/). For more providers google for "Flughafentransfer" and "Augsburg". Prices for a single transfer start at about 120€.

But if you don't have to travel right in the middle of the night, I would go by train, which costs way less (with local trains 25€. You can find train connections at www.bahn.com/en.

Thank you for your reply sla019. I looked up fahrdienst-schoenberger, and it seems like a good choice. I could take the train, but I am concerned about delays on S8, and I would have to leave my hotel earlier than I would like.

I wouldn't be concerned. First of all, local traffic runs much better than long-distance traffic, because it doesn't have to cover long routes with lots of those construction sites, and secondly, the train sequence is so dense that you can simply take either the next S1 or the next S8 (you don't notice anyway whether it's the punctual or the delayed S-Bahn that you're getting on). But of course I don't want to talk you into that. Just an additional note: There is also a Lufthansa bus between the main station and the airport.
