I will be in Munich for 5 days after my bike & barge tour, I intend to do the cycle tour of Munich as well as the Rick Steves walking tour Would this be recommended ??

Assuming you have lodging? Oktoberfest fills things up.

Yes, the fest will dominate all lodgings. Take some warm biking clothes, it will be chilly.

Thanks very much for your tips & suggestions. Yes, I do have accommodation with Airbnb in Hallbergmoos which is about 7 kms from the airport.
