Traveling from South to North Germany and back to Florida

Hello,

I have had a dream come true with my visit to see my German Cousins. I traveled from Frankfurt to Kaiserslautern and then to where I was born many many years ago in Landstuhl. After we traveled to France for 1st Reunion, Amazing! Then headed north to Koblenz and saw the Mosel River and wine tasting then to Hameln and then to Prinzenmoor for 2nd Family Reunion.... Lots of cousins! Amazing once again and my Dream has come true with no words to Express my Gratitude!

Now I travel back to Florida from Frankfurt Airport by way of Chicago then to Orlando. I have done several You-tubes to get familiar with this airport since first time traveling out of and by myself! Question: Is there a TSA Security line at Frankfurt Airport?

Yes,there is a security line but it is near your gate. It is very similar to the ones in the US.

Thank you for your response. However I am asking about the TSA pre-check Security, which is not the standard security. There is one in Orlando Florida, which I used before getting to my gate for my trip to Frankfurt Airport.

Be aware that Frankfurt is a very, very large airport. To get expedited security, you typically need to travel Business Class. But that doesn't work 100%! If you are a US citizen, you cannot escape the Immigration lines for "All Other Passports" (meaning non-EU passports, like US passports.) But Immigration is a different line than Departure Security, which is simply xraying carry-ons and scanning passengers.

As noted, TSA is a US government operation. It has nothing to do with entering a German airport or getting on a German plane. It is true that your air carrier has to provide your identity information to the US electronically some hours before you land in Chicago. That's one reason you have to check in three hours before flight time. But that doesn't really relate to ... "T S A."
