The fastest way (3 hr 37 min) is the Bahn IC bus. Advance purchase, non-refundable tickets start at 19€; full fare is 53,20€.
There are also three train connections daily between Nürnberg and Prague with one dedicated change in Schwandorf. These take 5 hours. With a Bayern-Böhmen-Ticket, which you can buy right up to travel time from a ticket automat for 26€ for the first person, 4,50€ for each additional person up to five, total, you can travel from Nürnberg to Pilsen. A Czech Republic ticket from Pilsen to Prague cost about 3,60€/person (less than 19€/person).
