The end of our 10-day Germany trip my wife and I and our 9 month old daughter will be spending 3 nights in Fussen to explore Bavaria (driving in from Munich and keeping car while we're there), followed by 2 nights in Salzburg. We're debating driving from Fussen to Berchtesgaden to spend a half day there prior to driving to Salzburg and dropping off car, vs. taking train from Fussen to Salzburg and either skipping Berchtesgaden or maybe taking a bus half-day trip there from Salzburg.
