Will be arriving next Monday at 1PM. Any suggestions for best mode of transportation to get to Marina Hotel, Bernried? If I should take trains - which one(s)?

Train from the airport to Hbf and train to Kochel am See and 1200 metre walk sound ok? A little under 2 hours. Source: Google Maps.

Buy two flex price tickets at the DB desk in the Airport center or from a vending machine (€23/two). Go by S-Bahn (either S1 or S8) to Munich Hauptbahnhof. Transfer to the local train bound for Kochel and exit at the "Bernried am Starnberger See" stop. Tell the hotel when you will arrive so that they can pick up you at the station (it would be quite a bit of walking, even though it's downhill).
Please note: the trains to Kochel leave from tracks 27-36 outside the main hall (walk for 200m along track #26).
Don't miss the Buchheim Museum in Bernried!
