Transport from Berlin to Prague

There is a train every two hours (28 minutes past the odd hour; the first train departs outside the regular schedule at 6:12).

Rather off topic, but if jesse4jesus has not looked into Jan Hus for Prague, he/she may want to learn a bit. Hus was a 15th century philosopher who challenged the church on many of the same topics on which Martin Luther did around 100 years later. Hus was burned at the stake for it at the Council of Constance in 1415. There is a large memorial to him on Old Town Square in Prague. Bethlehem Chapel was the site where he preached in Czech (scandalous!) instead of Latin; the chapel is a reconstruction (done by the Communists no less for reasons beyond the scope of this off-topic post), but the attached pastor's quarters where he lived is original.

The Hussites, those who followed the religious philosophy of Hus, had numerous sects that fought militarily against the Catholic Church. In nearby Tabor, there is a Hussite Museum that chronicles this history. Jan Žižka was the military leader of the Taborites and became a Czech national hero. He lost sight in one eye as a child -- in the other as a "general" after taking an arrow to the face in battle. Yet he never lost a battle. There is a statue of him in Tabor, but there is a more impressive statue of him in Prague, atop his steed at the National Monument at Vítkov.

Plenty of trains from Berlin to Prague via Dresden. If you have time, a stop in Dresden would be very rewarding.
