How much time do we need to allow for dropping off a rental car at Frankfurt airport to finding the train station at the airport? Are they each in different terminals?

Alexandra, the train station at the Frankfurt airport is downstairs from the terminal. I returned a car to Hertz (two locations available) went into terminal (outside secure area) ate lunch at McDonalds, went down to tracks all in less than 45 minutes. Be aware that's not the main rail terminal for Frankfurt though. Hope this helps

Here is the schematic of the airport. Both the Regionalbahnhof and Fernbahnhof are next to each other. The car rental desks are on the ticketing level above the stations (not that you'll need them).
