Trainline--Bayern Ticket

I purchased a ticket from Salzburg to Fussen on the Trainline website. It includes a Bayern ticket for the Munich to Fussen portion of the trip. The ticket indicates rail times for all portions of the trip (Salzburg to Munich and Munich to Fussen). I'm wonder if, since it is a Bayern ticket, it is possible for me to stop over in Munich and take a later train to Fussen without getting a new ticket? Or do I have to use the times noted on the ticket?

A Bayern ticket is good for travel all day long into the wee hours of the next morning. It's not a point to point ticket so no need to stop and buy a new ticket as long as you're within the Bayern regional area.

A Bayern ticket is a one-day pass, valid any time (for one day), any place, anywhere (in Bayern), on bus, U-Bahn, tram and local trains but no IC/ICE trains.
You can take any train you want. I would not expect a Bayern ticket to have a specific train listed on it, or is this just a listing of suggested trains on a different piece of paper?

What confuses me is you say "I purchased a ticket from Salzburg to Fussen . . .. It includes a Bayern ticket for the Munich to Fussen portion of the trip". But, A Bayern ticket is also valid from Salzburg to Munich, but only on local trains, no on IC/ICE. So why have you got a separate ticket for Salzburg to Füssen? Is it so you can use the IC or ICE trains, but that only saves you a few minutes.

Thanks for the clarificaiton--I have a Bayern ticket for the entire trip. But the trip shows times (for leaving each city). I'm just confirming that I do not not have to use those times as long as I use the ticket on that day in the appropriate region. Thanks!

Does the ticket you received show an express train (EC or RJ) for Salzburg to Munich or a Meridian (M) regional train.

If it is an express train, you might have a train specific "SparPreis" ticket, in which case you can only take that train from Salzburg to Munich. According to the "Vor- und Nachlauf" provision of the Bahn AGB, you can take any regional train from Munich to Füssen that day, but only between Munich and Füssen. By giving you a Bayern-Ticket, if that is what they did, Trainline has allowed you to any train to anywhere, that day.

If the ticket is for a Meridian train, then the Bayern-Ticket covers both Salzburg to Munich AND Munich to Füssen on regional trains, any regional train that day. On a workday, you can only use the Bayern-Ticket after 9 AM.
