Train Strasbourg to Frankfurt Airport tomorrow

Headed out tomorrow from Strasbourg to Frankfurt Airport to arrive late afternoon. We would like to make a stop along the way - suggestions? Was thinking Heidelberg and will need luggage lockers. Is there a ticket one can buy that allows a stopover along the way?

You can specify the length of time you want for a stopover -- bahn.de.

As long as it's not a discounted, advance purchase Savings Fare ticket you are allowed to make stops along the way as long as you finish your trip within a specified time (1 or 2 days depending on the trip length).

Per the Bahn schedule and fare website:

With an ICE ticket you can use all trains on the day of travel, with an IC/EC ticket you
can use any Intercity or Eurocity as well as local and regional trains.

If you want a discounted ticket, you can also make stopovers, but they must be specified on the ticket when you book it, and the ticket is only valid on the specified long distance trains (ICE, IC, or EC).

But you will have to specify a route that stops in Heidelberg along the way. Like the 8:31 ICE to Karlsruhe, then S-Bahn to Mannheim (which stops in Heidelberg on the way), then continue on the S-Bahn to Mannheim, then ICE to Frankfurt Flughafen.
