Train Station Clarification

Is Munich Hbf the same as Munich Central Station, Munich Germany?
Is Salzburg Hbf the main train station in Salzburg, Austria?
I'm specifically looking for their addresses in order to get directions to and from our hotels.

Yes. Plug into Goggle maps to see their location.

Hbf stands for Hauptbahnhof and is always the “main” station in German cities. I have never seen it called Munich Central Station. That term applies to stations in Italy, like Milano Centrale, Pisa Centrale, etc.

You do not need street addresses to find directions.

You can actually use the DB planner (www.bahn.de) for that: Just enter the name of your hotel, or your street address in the destination field, and the system will work it out for you: Which station to go to, and how to walk from there.

Google maps will prominently show the station (and every other public transit stop as well). Train stations are not exactly hidden. They are conspicuous, they often are the anchor of the city centre, and you can be certain that every local knows where it is...
