Has anyone taken public transport to Friedrichshafen from Munich airport?
Looks like I would need to take a train to main city station from airport and then on to FR changing trains once. Looking for most reliable and most efficient - not sure if a bus or shuttle is available as well. We usually rent a car but doesn’t make sense with this trip.

Takes 3 1/2 hours, with train changes at Munich Hbf (main station) and either Ulm or Lindau-Reutin. No reason to take a bus, the S-Bahn train from the airport stops in the station (underground) so you just go upstairs and board your next train. It is pretty easy. Everybody does it.
