Can someone verify whether the Copenhagen to Puttgarten train that goes on the ferry is covered with a 2 country Denmark-Germany rail pass? Or a Germany rail pass since it's a DB train? I have searched the official websites (DB & Eurorail) yet see conflicting ideas. Any help is greatly appreciated--thanks!
Its on my InteRail map, the European counterpart of the Eurail pass. It is a regularly scheduled train that just happens to have a ferry connection along the way. See no reason why it would not be included
Thank you! The DB map only shows the bus route being covered by the Pass, not the train & ferry so I was unsure.
The GRP alone doesn't cover Denmark or that ferry. It does however cover travel between Copenhagen and Warnemünde, Germany on the IC bus route to Berlin - and of course the ferry which transports the bus. See the map on this pdf file for the GRP.
Thank you very much for your reply and the link!
Difference between the single country German Rail Pass and a 2-country Germany-Denmark Eurail Pass.
