Is there anything similar to the Bayern tickets that you can use for regional travel in the Rhine Valley? I will be doing a round trip from Frankfurt to Koblenz and need input on travel options.

Frankfurt and Koblenz are in different states of Germany. Therefore the regional tickets are not meaningful for that purpose. Similar regional offers of Deutsche Bahn can be a day or weekend ticket.

Also, while planning your journeys, keep in mind that there are rail lines on each side of the Rhine. Double the pleasure - double the fun. Or, the more choices - the harder the decision...

I was going to suggest incorporating a boat ride in the trip. Show them your train ticket and get a discount on the boat ride.
