Tiroler Zugspitzbahn Cash or Credit

Can anyone tell me if the Zugspitzbahn in Ehrwald, Austria accepts credit cards or if it is cash only? Many of the sights I'm planning on visiting are cash only but the Zugspitzbahn website doesn't specify. Thank you

If you plan on cash, you cannot go wrong.

The German web site tells that they are accepting Visa and MC.
