Hi, have a 2 day stay in Frankfurt April 13-15. Arrive at 1100 AM on the 13, and leave at 1400 on the 15th, via plane. I have booked the Frankfurt on Foot tour for April 14th, as per suggested in other posts here. (Thank you). With the time I have Saturday and Sunday afternoon, are there any recommendations of what we may want to see while in Frankfurt? We like fun pubs, great Art Gallery's and all things history.
Also recommendations for accommodations that are in a fun area, that wont break the bank,with great restaurants would be appreciated.

Try Motel One, or Moxy near the Hauptwache.
The Städel is a great art museum, or the Liebig Haus for sculpture. The Judengasse and the Jewish Museum are both excellent. I also like the Film museum. The Historic Museum is large and well done. Everything is in English in all of those museums.
Head over to the old Sachsenhausen area to one of the Applewine pubs for dinner - Dauth Schneider, Lorsbacher Thal, Ätschel, or Apfelwein Dax.
On Sat. you might want to stop by the Farmers Market at the Konstablerwache.
