Tickets for Neuschwanstein?

When are you trying to get reservations? That might have a bearing on whether you can get tickets or not. Sometimes tickets aren't offered past a certain date. If you've already tried to make reservations via their website with no success...I would try emailing them again and then try calling them direct: 011-49-8362-930-830. I hope this helps some.

To follow up on this: I looked on their web site yesterday and noticed it's not secure. It's asking for credit card details on a simple unencrypted page. I'm not sure if I'd trust that. I'd rather email my card details than put them into an unencrypted page.

Thanks, I haven't called because I don't have access to a line that lets me call Europe. Next, I guess I'l find a way to call. We are hoping to go June 5.

Did you write to info@ticket-center-hohenschwangau.de? I wrote to them about a different subject a few years ago, and although I wrote in German, they wrote back in English.

Yes, that is the email address I used, no one responded so far, it's been several weeks.

If you're having problems... just get there early and buy your tickets at the counter. Worst case scenario, you may have to wait a few hours, but I doubt most of the people who reserve tickets in advanced would book their tour time early in the morning.

PS- I've never read or heard ANYWHERE that someone arrived at the castles without a reservation and wasn't able to visit them because all the tours were sold out. Even in the busy summer season. This includes guests who drove the 3 hour trip directly from my house.
