If you have been to the village of Teisendorf in Bavaria, I would be interested in hearing about your impressions and recommendations regarding lodging and dining. We will be in Germany in May and I am thinking about spending a couple days there. I have been following a group from Teisendorf on Facebook and think it looks like a lovely place to visit. Thanks.

Jerry, Teisendorf won't be on many peoples list of places to visit, even for a short stop. Looking at a map, I've been close to it a few times. If you have already established a rapport with the Teisendorf Facebook group then that might be good reason to visit. Nothing wrong with using it as a base, lots of great places close by. I've based in places, not mentioned much or not at all, for over a week and enjoyed my time there (Ladenburg, Graach an der Mosel).
