Tegelberg Cable Cars/Neuschwanstein Castle

My friends and I will be staying in Füssen in early December (part of a 3-week Christmas Markets Trip of Switzerland/Germany/Austria/Hungary) so we can visit Neuschwanstein Castle. We'd also like to visit Tegelberg and ride the cable car and take in the incredible views. My question is: what is the best way to get from Neuschwanstein to the Tegelberg cable cars or vice versa? Our hotel (Hirsch) offers a bus pass to/from Neuschwanstein, but I can't seem to find any info on potential transportation for Tegelberg. Any advice is appreciated!

You can walk in about an hour if you are able (Neuschwanstein to Tegelberg Bergbahn). I would not expect snow, but you never know. There is Bus 78 too, and Taxi. I could not find a 2023 Fahrplan for Bus 78. Not sure I would call the views incredible, but nice. It's been some time and my experience is dated, but if they have not improved the trails, to see Neuschwanstein you need to hike some, and then work thru the forest some. Don't fall off the cliffs. Walking down to the Marienbrücke is a little challenging. I had to scoot on my rear a few times. If the weather is bad, the trails may be closed. I'd appreciate any updates/corrections on the trails.
